I am so much into the Christmas season already.
I've decorated our home as early as mid-September and even bought a Poinsettia from Tagaytay (hoping it will "survive" up to December")
And today, I am uploading Christmas Songs into my iPod Touch.
Christmas is my favorite holiday more than any other season.
I even look forward more to Christmas than my birthdays.
You see, you get to get away with a lot of things during Christmas...people always say "Pasko naman eh". =)
And more than receiving gifts during this season, I actually look forward to sharing my blessings for the year.
So as I write this blog, my all-time favorite Christmas song is playing in the background...
"My Grown Up Christmas List"
Do you remember me
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you
With childhood fantasies
Well, I'm all grown up now
And still need help somehow
I'm not a child
But my heart still can dream
So here's my lifelong wish
My grown up christmas list
Not for myself
But for a world in need
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
and wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up christmas list
As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely
Wrapped beneath our tree
Well heaven only knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal
A hurting human soul
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up christmas list
What is this illusion called the innocence of youth
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth
(there'd be)
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, oh
This is my grown up christmas list
This is my only life long wish
This is my grown up christmas list
What's your favorite Christmas song?
